Pros

You can accelerate your career and technology knowledge faster than 95% of companies out there. The company works with the newest technologies things FAANG companies use. You take full responsibility of your work, and you have access to everything, you could take the entire thing down. Depending on your personality, this could be a good or bad thing. You have the ability and control, to influence the company by suggesting things. You get a couple of days to work from home a month.

Cons

The turnover for all jobs not just software are super high, I was part of 5 new software employees only one stayed. I don't recommend this job to engaged/married people, the risk/reward is just too high to risk if you already have a job. They lied to me about the responsibility of what I will work on when I get the job during the interview, and the tasks they gave me once I started working. The CEO is very unprofessional, makes dirty inapprioate jokes in front of employees, something that will make you feel uncomfortable. You will also see this in the interview, somehow he's unable to change or see his terrible personality that he reflects on the company. For your job you will have to interact with him daily so you can't escape him. Due to the culture the CEO has allowed to happen, I don't recommend any women to work here, it's not an environment you will feel comfortable in. The company has a bad reputation on the market, enough that the CEO has asked employees to write good reviews to fake the ratings on this website. You can see that in the rise of reviews in august - decemember.

BusinessChat Response

Response from Yazan Masafah, CEO of BusinessChat Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I understand that leaving on difficult terms can be frustrating, especially when expectations and performance standards don’t align. We hold our engineering team to a very high bar, and while that can be demanding, it’s also what allows us to build world-class products at an incredible pace. In this particular case, we provided several rounds of feedback and support, but unfortunately the performance didn’t meet our standards. That said, I still appreciate the effort and wish this person the best in their career ahead. As for me personally — I like to be myself at work. I believe in keeping things human and enjoyable, and yes, I make jokes and try to bring energy to the team. My intention has always been to create a friendly, fun, and open environment — never to make anyone feel uncomfortable. If my behavior ever caused anyone to feel otherwise, I’m truly sorry. That’s never been my intent, and I take that feedback seriously. For anyone considering joining us: BusinessChat is a place for people who want to grow fast, take full ownership, and make real impact. We’re constantly evolving and learning, and we strive to maintain a culture of respect, curiosity, and continuous improvement.

Pros

As CEO, I’m grateful every day for the passion and creativity of our team. BusinessChat is still small, which means every person has an outsized impact. We’re tackling meaningful challenges, learning fast, and building a culture where ideas and ownership matter. There’s a real sense of camaraderie and a shared mission that makes the journey worthwhile. We’re not perfect, but we’re committed to becoming better every day. If you’re excited by the idea of helping shape a company from the ground up, and you thrive in environments that reward initiative, I encourage you to join us on this journey.

Cons

We run lean, and that sometimes means people feel stretched. Our systems and processes are still maturing, and not everything is smooth yet. I take full responsibility for that — as a young company, we are still learning and iterating.

Pros

Good for people who wants to grow, if the ceo is in the mood.

Cons

No work-life balance, employees are expected to be available at all times, with no respect for personal time or boundaries. The CEO is unprofessional, often resorting to rude behavior, personal attacks, and profanity. Raises and promotions are weaponized, used to manipulate rather than reward or recognize performance. Management is driven by emotion, not logic, decisions are impulsive and lack grounding in data, or real business insights. Extreme micromanagement, even in technical areas where the CEO has little to no expertise, leading to confusion and inefficiency. Toxic culture of distrust, instead of empowering employees, leadership constantly looks for mistakes to blame individuals and assert control. Psychological safety is nonexistent, feedback is discouraged, and employees often feel intimidated or belittled.
