      Pros

      BHRRC has a warm and humane culture. Everybody is treated with respect. The mission of the organization is laudable, and it has proven its impact over the more than 20 years it's been around. BHRRC is a pioneer in many sub-fields in human rights, and continues to play a unique role in the landscape of organizations fighting for private companies to better protect and respect human rights around the world.

      Cons

      BHRRC could further improve the working arrangements for its remote regional researchers, and generally the wellbeing and anti-oppression practices for all its workers. I know that progress has been made in this regard, so I believe that they are actively working on this and making progress.

      Pros

      The organization is pretty well organized, the managers are respectful and -willing to help you whenever needed. They will respect your 9-5, and if for any reason there is a need to work for more time, they wil give you compensatory time. They also have staff development programs.

      Cons

      The work can be very `basic` at an assistant level, but this is normal.

      Great Co-Workers who are nice, friendly, and equally as hard working

      It's a small non-profit so money is tight, and the work is never ending!
