Pros

The premise behind this company is great - build better working relationships. This is something that everyone can get behind. There are some really great dedicated people working here, and the community is wonderful.

Cons

Better working relationships don't manifest themselves internally. Senior management runs the gamut from being distrustful micromanagers to being non-existent. The place is constantly in a state of flux, the expectations are not realistic, and words and actions don't back one another up. People are given "opportunities", but then aren't set up to succeed. The turnover rate is very high because unless you can thrive on constant stress and chaos, you're just going to drown. While there is great potential, this company will never be able to grow beyond a certain point, due to overwhelming management interference and a lack of vision for how to maintain a creative, thriving workplace.

Pros

They offered great benefits including unmanaged paid time off and health insurance coverage. It functioned as a small start up which allowed you to work in many areas of the business and gain valuable experience. They are also a remote company, which allows you to work from anywhere.

Cons

The company was filled with nepotism and that nepotism fueled the management style. Non-family members worked harder for less pay. Three of the four c-suite executives were immediate family members and this sentiment was spread throughout the company. In fact, one member of the family, who worked at a lower level, hid her relationship with family because the unfettered nepotism was a frequent source of complaints amongst employees.
