Pros

I had a fantastic experience working at BDI. Immediately welcomed, I was included in every production meeting and clued in on all the big-picture stuff that could have easily been considered unnecessary for me to know to do my job. I was given real responsibilities right off the bat and valued more than any other work experience I've had. I can't say enough about the transparency with which Steve conducts his business, which has resulted in a team culture of total honesty and efficient communication. An open office plan enhanced the emphasis on open communication, but it also made for one of the happiest work environments I've ever witnessed, and I considered every person on the team more than a colleague or a boss, BDI is a work family. When it came to work hours, the flexibility and understanding was amazing, and office space was just renovated, and very comfortable. My workload was varied and I appreciated that it changed from day to day and client to client, and didn't get tedious. The events BDI produces are personally and carefully managed down to every last detail, and attending them, I was able to experience how pleased clients and attendees were with what we produced, and I was proud to be a part of it.

Cons

The office is in the financial district, so sometimes the lines are a little long trying to get food at lunchtime. Other than that, I couldn't have been more pleased with BDI or my experience working there.

Pros

I was able to complete all necessary work as a community team member while maintaining a balance as a student to fulfill a full course load and explore additional hobbies. I could take on additional work in other areas and explore areas of interest within the company. Constantly working with Fortune 500 companies and exposed to numerous advances in tech, numerous industries, and people from all backgrounds. An exceptional team to work with, where each individual truly cares for each other and for the success of the company.

Cons

Tasks for the community team can be very repetitive while conducting outreach.
