Pros

- While it is primarily a remote agency, there truly is a great culture among colleagues that is welcoming and supportive. The people at this agency are so smart, kind, and driven, and it is an excellent environment to learn the ropes of PR. - Work/life balance is great for an entry-level PR agency role. The nature of the work can occasionally lead to working outside of the typical 9-5, but management is good about sheltering more junior employees from long hours. - If you show you are capable, there is ample opportunity to take on new projects and responsibilities that typically would take longer to earn at other agencies.

Cons

- Pay isn’t competitive at the AC level. Unfortunately, that’s just how entry-level PR is. - With the way teams are structured, there is minimal opportunity for cross-team collaboration, which can sometimes make the work/teams feel siloed. If you want to build relationships outside of your team you have to really seek it out, which can be intimidating and feel unnatural due to the remote nature of the agency.

Pros

Great management, training, and growth opportunities, alongside the ability to do very advanced work and projects from day one. Managers are very willing to jump in and help; there is a real feeling of team camaraderie.

Cons

Fits and starts in tech directly impact the business and a bit sooner than big tech since most of the clients are super interesting emergent tech folks.

Pros

Some co-workers were extremely nice, supportive and friendly. Encouraged professional development. Working from home is nice.

Cons

Underpays employees, laid off a bunch of people over the summer, prioritizes profit over people. Communicating with upper management always feels so calculated. They pride themselves on professional development, but then double-down on and grill employees who are struggling and need help. I was personally gaslit into thinking I didn't deserve a reasonable raise or a promotion after taking over managerial duties for several months when my colleague left. That sucked and was detrimental to my mental health
