Pros

Incredible coworkers, great benefits, unlimited paid time off

Cons

Expected to work weekends without previous discussion, constantly working after hours, very little respect for work-life balance, very disrespectful management, irresponsible and unprofessional management. Employees aren't allowed to breathe any creativity or personal style into their work. Demeaning management, constant criticism and very little constructive comments. Very arbitrary pay, with employee salaries ranging ~15K for the same position. Very little planning in how work is done. Employees never taught to swim, thrown in the water and expected to float.

We're disappointed to hear you didn't get to use your creativity to the fullest. And we agree there are some processes we have been working to improve relating to pay, especially now that our workforce lives throughout the country. Like the clients we support, we will never be complacent and appreciate your feedback. We hope you learned some while with us, and happy to hear you liked your co-workers, our benefits, and the opportunities provided. Best of luck in your new role! Please contact me directly and we can course correct for the future: kyle@

Pros

Great management, training, and growth opportunities, alongside the ability to do very advanced work and projects from day one. Managers are very willing to jump in and help; there is a real feeling of team camaraderie.

Cons

Fits and starts in tech directly impact the business and a bit sooner than big tech since most of the clients are super interesting emergent tech folks.

Pros

- While it is primarily a remote agency, there truly is a great culture among colleagues that is welcoming and supportive. The people at this agency are so smart, kind, and driven, and it is an excellent environment to learn the ropes of PR. - Work/life balance is great for an entry-level PR agency role. The nature of the work can occasionally lead to working outside of the typical 9-5, but management is good about sheltering more junior employees from long hours. - If you show you are capable, there is ample opportunity to take on new projects and responsibilities that typically would take longer to earn at other agencies.

Cons

- Pay isn’t competitive at the AC level. Unfortunately, that’s just how entry-level PR is. - With the way teams are structured, there is minimal opportunity for cross-team collaboration, which can sometimes make the work/teams feel siloed. If you want to build relationships outside of your team you have to really seek it out, which can be intimidating and feel unnatural due to the remote nature of the agency.
