Pros

- Solid access control, CCTV monitoring, visitor management, and incident reporting experience across New Jersey contract security client sites. - Company supported my SORA (NJ) license and renewals; paid onboarding, CPR/First Aid, and de-escalation training. - Supportive site supervisor/field supervisor team; clear post orders and quick help from dispatch/scheduling. - Reliable overtime opportunities without pressure; shift coverage handled efficiently. - Competitive benefits package (healthcare, dental, vision, 401(k)) after eligibility; optional certifications (e.g., TWIC for port assignments). - Good exposure to foot/vehicle patrol, perimeter checks, and alarm response; strong customer-service culture. - Career growth pathways (site supervisor, operations) and steady client mix in Northern/Central NJ.

Cons

None come to mind for me.

Pros

The only reason I love working for Building Security Services is because of the site I managed. The people are very helpful in developing not only my academic career, but also advising in every aspect of life.

Cons

Building Security Services lacks management experience. Building Security Service don't value employees despite the value-added by the employee. Imaged a company who will give $25 commission as yearly bonus. Imagine a company who refuses to pay its employee anniversary leave because it is two weeks behind. Despite that the employee was going away for studies. The is what the CEO,Susan Ferdinando, wrote in an E-mail conversation with the branch manager after my request,"Must resign. Why doesn't anyone like rules? He is upset because he knows he didn't meet the requirements for his 2 week's vacation but to threaten with a lawyer? It's in our handbook... He won't be here for his anniversary date, he is 16 days shy of it. I break the rules for him I would have several lawsuits on my hands. He is not entitled to his vacation pay and he is NOT GETTING IT. END OF STORY...e.t.c" CEO cant even write a simple professional E-mail. That is a shame...Buy grammerly to help correct your grammar mistakes. The company also pay nuts. I work for Building Security Service for 5 years and the end was stands out at $9.79 for the entire 5 years of my service.
