Pros

Builders Capital - very knowledgeable, experienced, and seemingly willing to invest in their teams (to a point)....

Cons

Completely unethical, lacking of trust and ethics, arrogant, terrible products... I want to leave a review for any potential - future business developers that are thinking of joining this organization. I took a Loan Officer with this company, and on the first day my title was changed, management team changed, comp scenario changed (could be considered the comp plan, but I want to be honest/real here), and the expectations regarding my production changed. I left a very secure and excellent job with a great team to grow and learn and was met with a lot of dishonesty... I felt that the senior leaders were being unethical and lacked any trust/honor. They seem like great guys - caring, nice, and forward thinking... in the end, the senior leaders seemed to only care about themselves. They treat their production staff terrible.. end of story. If you are exploring a role - just get EVERYTHING in writing and hold them to that standard. I should note, their loan products are terrible as well...

Pros

Fast paced environment, with a lot of opportunity to challenge yourself and grow your skill set alongside collaborative, hard working people. Flexible schedule! The recruiting team does a fantastic job finding the right talent for the teams needs!!

Cons

Communication can be a challenge however if you stay curious and speak up the Leadership team is always willing to listen. Benefit package is not very robust, however compensation and schedule flexibility is far better than banking.
