Not a marketing agency - a pyramid scheme - Independent Sales Contractor Bua Group Employee Review

Pros

Very young and driven colleagues

Cons

A pyramid scheme selling products to customers either door to door, or outside malls and complexes. You are manipulated into believing that working a 6 day week, from 8am until 8pm is in your best interest. Entirely commission based earnings, and no benefits. This company has been rebranded from what it previously was, Frontier Group, but still with the same premise of manipulating both customer and employee that their work is ethical. If you disagree with them, fail to meet personal KPIs (which is how many doors you knock on, how many sales you close in a day), you're then shamed into believing that you have a poor work ethic and attitude.

Pros

Good environment to work it, most of the team are actually excited to go to work each day which is refreshing compared to other workplaces where everyone is miserable. Good training provided and lots of opportunities for growth and progression, support is given and you can tell that the management actually care about people not just the results

Cons

Rejection with sales, some rude customers, fair bit of travel which can be good and bad, the challenges actually made me grow a lot more than an easy job would though - they said it would be challenging and it was - you just need to be somene who is up for the challenge and actually wants to work hard to grow and earn great money and skills
