Cons
The biggest con is the way their entire system is set up. Some employees have been with the company for a long time and own their book of business. The firm operates in the real estate sector which is relatively small and there are only that many companies and candidates in the market. These employees have most of the big companies and main candidates under their name in the database. The candidates and companies remain in their name indefinitely, even if they haven't been reached out to in many years. This is unlike most recruitment firms which reset their database every 6 months - 1 year, and if you're not actively working with a company or candidate those become fair game for anyone else to approach. The system at Bryan, Jason puts a new employee at a major disadvantage and blocks them from gaining business and/or placing candidates since they don't have access to majority of the companies and candidates. This also impacts your income since it is 100% commission based. Employees never reach their goals since the system sets you up for failure. Because of this there is very high turnover and the company is never able to retain more than 1-2 consultants at any given point in time who typically don’t last for longer than 2 years.
