The Union is incredibly protective of employees.
Cons
There are no real standards of care. Poor wages means that only the most desperate apply; this means that positions stay open (as people find better opportunities and leave,) and only those that cannot find better work stay. This covers medical teams, plant operations, and even the executive suite.
