Pros

The small number of colleagues I met during my years there were great.

Cons

As a graduate this company offers little to no support with progressing your APC. 90% home working meant that senior colleagues did not come to the office so training and gaining experience was near impossible. After weeks of chasing they failed to provide a councillor which is required to assist with the APC process. After years at the company they removed a car allowance with zero days notice and after handing in my notice made £800 of deductions to my salary that month. Salary was miles behind similar firms and pay rises were non existent. The social experience here is really poor, there is little chance to meet colleagues and there are zero social events arranged by the company apart from a pub meal at Christmas where they offer £25 to cover food. Leadership was poor with senior figures only corresponding through HR so you never meet them. There is a huge emphasis on timesheets here with partners pushing unachievable fee targets. Overall a poor experience where I would suggest graduates looking to pass their APC and become chartered surveyors look else where.

Pros

- Management are trying & I could see where they were aiming to get to with the company. - Good Salary - Remote work

Cons

- the company are in a very quick period of growth with lots of changes to the way people are expected to work. Some people are on board & a pleasure to work with, some people less so - project pipeline not well organised - work not what was advertised - very cliquey with a blame culture - staff turnover very high - expected to do unpaid overtime from day 1 “for the good of the team” - before I started I read reviews that said similar things & took them with a pinch of salt. But from what I experienced a lot of the other negative reviews were accurate
