I was disappointed by how my situation was handled when I needed time off for medical reasons. I was transparent about my condition and did my best to maintain professionalism throughout, but ultimately, I was let go during a time when I was dealing with serious health challenges. I would have appreciated more understanding and support from leadership during that time. This experience is not only my own.
