Pros

If you are passionate about public policy and interested in the consulting profession, then this is a great launching point for your career. As a small, boutique firm, you have the advantage of really "getting your feet wet" - working across a range of government industries, while getting an introduction to the trades of proposal writing, project management and client relationship-development. The small office culture creates a nice family feel. Staff are genuine and really care about the social and public value produced by their work. For the most part, there is a "we're all in this together" vibe.

Cons

Overall a fine place to work. The only downside is the lack of a clear career trajectory / partnership track.
