Pros
A few people there do make pretty good commissions on the sales team.
Free snacks in office
Occasional employee events
Cons
The CEO’s strategy for compensation is to pay the bare minimum he can, even for great talent-but especially for female workers.
Benefits are pricey for employees. It’s a 50/50 split for insurance-which is very much so on the high end of the spectrum.
Hostile work environment: I’ve never been screamed at by executive leadership at any job before this. Major decisions were ruled by emotions here, people are fired without cause/warning regularly, turnover is high, I witnessed many times that inappropriate things were said/done regarding myself or other female coworkers. Management plays favorites, your job could be dependent on whether or not one of his favorites likes you.
Affiliate marketing/lead generation is a shady industry. Some coworkers were extremely unprofessional and unpleasant to deal with.
You’re expected to be blindly loyal and place a lot of “trust” in this company, meanwhile leadership gets together weekly to make fun of employees and complain behind closed doors about everyone’s performance (typically not addressing issues head on). It wasn’t uncommon for people to be blindsided with terminations.
