Pros

Broadview University is a committed and dedicated institution of higher learning. They are determined to insure an effective learning environment infused with talented and experienced instructors committed to student success including high standards required to graduate and to prepare the candidate for the professional job market.

Cons

The prejudicial and unmerited consequences of the federal policies and guidelines required for federal educational funding. "For profit" learning centers and technical schools have all been unfairly punished due to a few non compliant schools who have violated professional ethics in marketing practices. In the final analysis it is and will continue to be the student that suffers from these federal policies unfairly applied to "for profit" private schools while buffering the public colleges and uiversities who enjoy the security of federally supported student loans. Private schools are required to maintain post graduation student employment percentage ratios who have formerly utilized federal support while the feds do not require the same of public colleges and universities. This creates an unfair and unreasonable discriminatory regulation against the "for profit" schools. Moreover it creates an unfair advantage for the public institutions. Consequently, the Obama administration policies have effectively closed the doors of several private schools by this unfair competitive advantage for the public institutions. Numerous students will remain "uneducated' and without a degree while restricting their professional options.
