- Access to tones of Dell hardware - Tons of time to work on Proof of concept projects. - Netops Linux supervisor / director really easy going. - Summer hours! I had no idea those even existed. You'll love that. - Easy to put ideas for change in front of those that have the ability to hit the "go" button. - You will not be micro managed here. - At least in Netops Linux, management will bend over backwards to try and help out in most cases.

Cons

- In some cases, communication between departments can be problematic. - As with any job you get politics. I noticed this only when working outside the team.

Insight into the nitty gritty of copyright/music licensing. Great learning experience for overcoming objections, empathetic listening, and music law.

Cons

Feels like collections more than music industry. Strict quotas with limited guidance. Need to have thick skin to gain anything at all from this job.
