Pros
Access to high level real estate, grocery delivery, leave at 1pm for summer Fridays, some good coworkers, ability to learn a lot. This is a good job/company for a short term position and/or to earn an entry level salary. Yearly bonus is a huge plus
Cons
Upper management is extremely busy which does not allow for a good learning environment for lower management. You will be hired for one job and expected to do something completely different and if that expectation isn’t met you are at fault (even though you weren’t hired for that position). Turnover is extremely high in lower management (employees tend to last about 1 year before moving on). You will likely be hired and not given any training and will just have to “figure it out.” Being sick or having doctors appointments during work hours is frowned upon. Benefits are the bare minimum. Salary for assistant property manager is 20% lower than the average for NYC
