Pros
An easy job if you'd like to get started living abroad, you don't need any prior experience, and generally there's always a teacher with you. It's a nice way to experience schools in a different country.
Cons
There is absolutely no progression, not on pay or on seniority and you aren't paid for 3 months of every year (in Spain). Depending on what teacher you are working with it can be incredibly boring, and you just sit at the back of the class staring into space, so sometimes you need to take a lot of initiative to be able to actively enjoy your job more.
