Pros

Work/ Life balance is amazing. In my position, as long as I was getting all of my work done, I was able to sign off when I needed to if I had appointments or just needed a small break. Flexible time off is also really great as they don't ask a lot of questions.

Cons

The leaders don't do a lot of leading. Yes, they keep the business running but there isn't much help in the way of setting you up for success. Most of it is blamed on being owned by a larger corporation therefore "their hands are tied". You have to find your own way if you want to progress at all.

Pros

Briostack does a really good job of keeping the culture of a smaller company while being nestled in a larger organization. The President and leadership team do seem to be aware of each employee and strive to listen to their needs. They cannot make everyone happy but they have open communication about decision making.

Cons

Sometimes Evercommerce feels disconnected from us.

Pros

Any benefit or perk to working for Briostack was done away with or extremely limited and replaced with useless corporate resources over the last couple years since being bought by Evercommerce.

Cons

- Definition of micromanagement - then gaslight you and tell you it's not micromanagement - Any constructive feedback to leadership was met with condescending explanations and a fast-track ticket to being put on a PIP or micromanaged - Extreme lack of communication and vision from leadership - Territories, commission structures, priorities, initiatives, and focus changed consistently daily, weekly, and monthly. - Underperforming employees who were in the good graces of leadership were kept on with no accountability while other employees were set up for failure with insane PIP requirements if they didn't perform one month or raised disagreement with processes. - Commission structure is impossible to obtain consistently given that leadership does not align the seasonality of the pest control industry with Evercommerce's expectations. Do not understand how to compensate correctly and fairly for larger deals - Leadership out of touch with customer profile and industry - Leadership talks behind employee's backs to others instead of addressing concerns privately 1 on 1 - Leadership is beholden to Evercommerce and pass the buck to the CS, engineering, and sales teams if anything doesn't meet expectations - Good, hard working people who joined Briostack to grow and improve were met with criticism and provided no support or training before being let go - Leadership play favorites depending on who drinks the most Brio Kool-aid - Many, many other examples that show a consistent history of people being screwed over, lack of training and support, and inconsistent vision and direction from leadership
