Modest pay for certain positions.
Cons
Solid impenetrable glass ceiling. (Clearly an academic old boy's clique) No formalized training programs which gauge competency. Absence of succession planning. Narcissistic leadership that in some instances borders of self-proclaimed martyrdom. Poor field communications. Hourly rates of pay for nurses is below average in some states. Medical benefits are costly/inadequate but advertised by the company as freedom of choice through market selection that "saves money for you and the company". Turnover ratio for nurses is abhorrent. Operations demonstrate too much book knowledge and not enough understanding regarding communications, particularly with nursing.
