Pros
I work with the best best people ever. I have been able to develop a great relationship with my clients and many have become part of my family. You are able to make a true difference in someones life.
Cons
No PTO, expensive benefits, wage freeze for last 2 years. Little to no training for upper management. We spend so much time and energy training direct care staff but management is just pushed into a general direction and told to have at it. There is such a big divide between direct care and management staff which is hard to understand since most of the management did direct care for years.
