Pros
It pays the bills. You make a difference in someones life. Its great work experience. Very minimal job requirements. (Work here at a low pay grade for 2 years, then you can get a job at any other care home for a higher pay grade).
Cons
The pay sucks. Everyone starts on call. They dont have very many hours available, even for people that aren't on call. A lot of job duties for this field of work.
