Pros
I have worked with allwayscaring for a total of 13 yrs now and if I did not enjoy my job , I wouldn't be here, the job is a rewarding job , that you kw that Goodwill reward us for what we do to help our elders to try and keep them home with every day tasks they need help with and keeps them from the hospitals , from being in nursing homes, it's where they can be looked after in their own safety zone which is their own home, there is no place like home, we keep them company, see their getting their nutrients, medications , personal hygiene, and joke around , do activities and shop and enjoy our compaionship and become part of the family. It's a heartfelt rewarding job ,
Cons
Down side is you can get too close to a patient and their family which becomes family to us, we have to learn to live them but when it's time to let go and we have too , then we have to say goodbyes and let go. At times you have tor tell families the truth and sometimes the truth is hard to swallow but I'd rather kw the truth and not be à lie.
