Pros
rewarding if you like helping people and money is not a primary concern of yours good flexibility, as long as you communicate your needs in time office and management will work with you to the best of their ability
Cons
the hourly rates are sub standard, leads and home managers have a lot of responsibilities but little to no influence on hiring and firing or disciplinary actions. This makes it difficult to get a consistent level of performance among employees and it's just the luck of the draw who you work with. Some houses are great, some are less than stellar and it can change at the drop of a dime. Most important criteria whether you should hire on or not is the house manager you're working for as the rest of the employees have a very high turnover rate
