At Brightroll I work hard with hard-working people in a happy and motivating environment. I can have as much fun with my coworkers in a planning meeting as I can in a ping-pong deathmatch or at Happy Hour. The friendly culture at Brightroll offers a comfortable atmosphere that makes it easy for employees to ask questions, learn, grow and try new things. Since I've started I've been able to take on new projects without bureaucratic red tape and with support from management. What I also love about Brightroll is how the company handles challenges/setbacks. Whenever we have a major issue or run into an impacting problem, our teams are quick to evaluate what happened and treat it as a learning experience. There are no blame games and a lot of positive reinforcement. Brightroll also offers a very comfortable environment for women in tech. I am respected and supported in the company and do not feel any pressure to prove my worth because I'm a woman. At the same time, working at Brightroll is an exciting challenge. Every day brings new projects to tackle and I find myself rising to the occasion regularly which is very personally fulfilling. It's really a gift to be at a company where I can feel comfortable, supported, challenged, motivated, etc. and where I'm surrounded by fun people working together to build something great.
Cons
Sometimes it's hard to feel close to the other offices around the country, so it would be great to have more activities/opportunities to interact with coworkers that are not in our same city.
