Pros

Flexible schedule - As long as the work gets done, you aren't set to a time slot which is great for those with families, another job, or enjoy traveling. Upbeat environment - From the top on down, everyone is excited about what they do. Mostly because we each love what we do, but also because of the creative freedom we have to get the job done and do it right. Resources - For a firm this size, the volume of resources is impressive. Brian and the gang bring together decades of experience and creative thinking. If you aren't a SME in a particular area, they have some tools to help, so you don't feel like you're being hung to dry or setup to fail. Honesty - This is something you don't see too often with smaller companies. It's also a reason why most contractors are hesitant to take non-1099 work. At BP, they are up front about everything, good or bad. Remote - Working remote isn't new, but it's fun to collaborate with a small group of people who are experts in their given field.

Cons

No healthcare or retirement benefits. You'll have to have that setup elsewhere. For people who understand contract work, entrepreneurs, etc., this is normal. Plus you get a little stipend to compensate for using your home resources.

Pros

If you value a non-toxic, no BS, honest, empathic, and sincere work environment, this is the best place to work. It's evident that the leadership of this organization values hard work, transparency, individual growth, and the well-being of the employees. While not the official motto of the company, if I were to describe it, it would be.... "People first. Employees later." At the start of every interaction, there is a "How are YOU?" introduction rather than just a get-down-to-business beginning. There is always a genuine concern and care for the employees. I have had several jobs throughout my career, and this is the best place I have ever worked. Brian, the founder, has been a great leader and example of how every company should be run.

Cons

No retirement or healthcare benefits. But the company does provide a monthly stipend for health-related expenses used at your discretion.
