Leadership is inconsistent and lacks clear direction. There’s little sense of collaboration; interactions often feel competitive rather than supportive. Feedback from management and male chefs can come across as dismissive or condescending. Salary offers are not reflective of industry experience and there’s minimal flexibility in negotiations. French is frequently spoken in group settings when not everyone understands it. It can feel exclusionary.
