Pros

I'm reading some of these negatives reviews and I wonder where all these disgruntled people were when I worked there because everyone was absolutely incredible and no I'm not a part of their PR team like some suggested. I had a short sales career at Bridgit. I left not because of the people, product, or leadership but because of personal reasons. I absolutely loved my time there, some of the most genuine, smart, and caring people I've ever worked for and I've worked for several start-up's in my career. However, It's certainly not for everyone, if you're used to structure and process then you are in for an awakening but if you're like me who loves to run business without being micromanaged and wear a number of different hats (yes, even a testing hat in the early days) then this place will not disappoint. The founders always kept us in the loop on company performances and HR related issues which is rare in this industry. Also if they felt like they were asking too much of us because of tight deadlines they would always thank us with free lunches/dinners etc. They also bent over backwards to give us the best tools to sell with! The co-founders are some pretty incredible women and have stood up to a male dominated industry. They're incredibly involved in the community and rally behind an innovative Waterloo Region.

Cons

Their office is SUCH a cool space but because its an old building it gets very cold in the winter.

Pros

I have been very impressed by level of communication—and communication style—across the company. There is certainly a lot to do, as there is at any startup, but Bridgit is relatively free from the frenetic throw-spaghetti-at-the-wall approach that's far too common at startups. No egos + empathetic executives make for a solid culture. Resources (budget, tools, etc.) are available as needed.

Cons

Collaborating across timezones can be tricky, but worth it in exchange for the benefits of remote work.

Pros

- Good people (besides c-suite)

Cons

Where to begin... - Poor management - CEO runs everything based on popularity, hires her friends who have no experience and they magically get multiple promotions a month in - Terrible work/life balance (even though that is one of the "perks") - Belittling during team meetings when concerns are brought up - Shady practices Overall a terrible place to work.
