Thank you for taking the time to post this review. As you know, we have a very transparent and inclusive culture wherein the whole project team is aware of what is going on in the project as well as with the overall client engagement. Sometimes the project leads also involve selected associates in meetings to provide a firsthand learning experience of handling various situations or project related matters. It’s possible that you were also invited for similar meetings, wherein you didn’t have a direct role to play which made you feel that your presence in those meetings wasn’t required. In such cases, the project leads generally explain the motive behind involving other associates in the meeting. If you feel some of the meetings aren’t necessary, or if you have any concerns about the project and overall management practices being followed at Emtec, please feel free to bring it up with your HR representative or location head. All views shared by our current or past associates are taken very seriously and we encourage you to contact us at HR-India@emtecinc.com to help us better understand your concerns and address them.

Pros

I love the people I work with. I’m constantly learning with every project, and I feel appreciated for my skills and talents. My boss is awesome and gives me a lot of freedom. He's friendly, open, honest, and a great mentor. I think he believes in my abilities more than I sometimes do, which pushes me to take on challenges that help me grow and be a valuable asset to the company. Our team is made up of generally happy people, which makes even the tough jobs feel manageable. I’ve also never worked on a brand I wasn’t excited about, which keeps the work feeling meaningful and fun.

Cons

- The emphasis on time tracking/timesheets creates constant stress around balancing billability and over-logging hours. - My role and responsibilities have grown but my compensation hasn't changed much over the last several years. - No bonuses.

Pros

Decent pay, good people, and remote company.

Cons

Layoffs about every 3 months. Leadership doesn’t disclose. You’ll be looking to reach out to someone about a project and find out they’re not even there anymore. Leadership and management provide little to no training/information yet expect you to perform as if you did. It’s actually very strange. Promotions only given to offshore team members. No culture - the culture is getting the company more money. Poor change management process, yet lots of changes.
