Good experience - Summer Camp Counselor Brick Works Academy Employee Review

The staff are amazing.. honestly, my coworkers are what made this experience great.

Very disorganized. You’re expected to design your own materials with no extra compensation for that work. Don’t expect much support.. everything runs on a shoestring, and like a lot of summer camps, you’re just expected to figure it out as you go. The pay doesn’t reflect that you’re often functioning as a teacher, and proper or working supplies aren’t always provided, which gets frustrating. Pay dates are also inconsistent and have caused real issues for staff.

Liked being able to help children learn important computer skills and introduce them to coding.

A good amount of wasted time.
