Pros

Bremer has pretty decent benefits for a company of their size. PTO is generous and it's one of the few companies still with a pension.

Cons

Much of Bremer's technology work force is demoralized. A few years ago Bremer brought in a group of contractors and sequestered them away from the rest of the technology group. (tech workers are generally in their Lake Elmo facility but this group works by itself in the St. Paul headquarters). This group seems to have an unlimited budget while the rest of the tech group can't replace anyone who leaves. Yet it's this latter group that does all the work supporting Bremer's existing operations. It's hard to see so much money spent that does little to enhance Bremer's operations get any resources requested while the rest of the tech group struggles to keep up with demand.
