Good company otherwise, marred by internal politics and show of strength - Manager Bread Financial Employee Review

Pros

Good Perks, cares for employees and their well-being. Was really great when Card Services used to operate under the banner of Epsilon (in Bengaluru). The problems started when the top management was given the free hand since the entity broke away from Epsilon (post it's sale to Publicis).

Cons

Dirty politics to the core, Regionalism prevalent in very obvious visible way. Leadership is very immature and not able to cope up with having so much power and responsibility. There are some teams with very high attrition rate still the top management handling this team is not questioned, if you are in good books of such shallow leadership you would make it great here else you would be suffocated and threatened with lay-off / firing / performance improvement warning et al. With great power comes definitive great responsibility and the senior management some how does not get that point. They are in the process of openly and blatantly snatching working from their US counterparts who are already under pressure from 2 rounds of mass layoff or restructuring as is sophisticatedly referred to as.
