Pros
With over 65 years of experience, this firm's geotechnical consulting expertise is second to none
Cons
This firm's management style is nothing short of a nightmare. The leadership's incessant micro-management is suffocating. It's mind-boggling how they sit in Minnesota and attempt to control every aspect of offices across 10 states, completely bypassing the office managers in place. They insist on communicating directly with employees and technicians who don't even report to them, creating confusion and undermining local leadership. Furthermore, the compensation is insultingly low, and their 401(k) contributions only vest at 2% after two long years. The high rate of hiring and firing only adds to the instability. What's worse is their relentless pressure on employees to pester clients for lunches and coffees, which feels more like an awkward sales pitch than genuine relationship-building. This firm's management approach is a recipe for dissatisfaction and burnout. Avoid it at all costs.
