Pros

Coworkers are (mostly) great Interesting business model (IPv4)

Cons

- Employees are watched on camera at all times (not to mention the app installed on the computers that takes pictures of your screen every 3 minutes!) - Employees messages and calls to coworkers may or may not be recorded and reviewed later by management (privacy who?) - Bathroom breaks are monitored (don’t take too many or be gone too long!) - Yes, you can accrue PTO (vacation and sick are bundled here, 10 whole days for the entire year!), but there is a cap in the system that prevents you from getting to the total amount (not sketchy at all….) and you may or may not be encouraged to not use your PTO, instead being told it will get paid out at the end of each year like a sad little bonus (but again, you may or may not get capped and not even get the full amount paid out, even if you took 0 days off) - Management does not recognize or abide by HIPAA laws, so don’t expect any privacy or respect if you get sick or (god forbid) need to see a doctor - Submitting a doctors note may be deemed a lie and untrustworthy (because they can be forged of course!) - Limited Benefits package (because no one actually uses their vision insurance! Sorry glasses and contacts users!) - No work/life balance (because in this day and age, who doesn’t want to spend 100% of their time working?) - Employees are terrified to stay home when they are sick (so anticipate your coworkers being wildly sick in the office instead of staying home and resting) - Work at home is never an option- if you want autonomy to work at the pace you know is best for you, look literally anywhere else - Expect to arrive before your actual start time and leave well after your end time, and if you choose to work a standard 8 hour day with a lunch break, you might hear rumors that you are “lazy” - If a coworker decides to (inevitably) quit, you may hear things like “they are stealing from me. I trained them so everything they know is because of me” (lets not get into the semantics that we are all learning and growing at every company we work for and that every C Suite executive on this planet started at another company and learned from multiple managers…..) - There is no career growth here - don’t worry, you will probably gain additional duties and responsibilities but with little to no additional compensation (and expect to say “thank you” for this wonderful growth opportunity!) - Here’s a tip…. make sure commission is built into your offer letter, you’ll thank me later. - Some people are allowed to earn commissions, others aren’t (good luck figuring out who’s who!) - There is no “seat at the table” - this is the silliest thing you will hear during your interview process. - 80% turnover rate - you will never work with the same group of people for more than a few months (great for morale!) - 10/10 would recommend applying anywhere else. You will make more money and have a better work/life balance literally anywhere else. Run, do not walk, in any other direction but here

Brander Group Response

It is unfortunate you had a bad experience. However, there are many inaccuracies in the review. 1. Cameras were installed after there was an incident in the office. They were installed for employee safety and problem resolution. 2. Yes Remote employees use time Doctor so we can track both their time and productivity, this is a common practice. 3, We have never penalized employees for taking time off even when they are in negative PTO. Nor have we ever not allowed sick days. As an added Bonus, yes we pay out PTO in January for any unused days. No games here, this can be verified :) 4, We are a startup and offer Aetna Health, Dental, 401k PTO at the same coverage as any fortune 1000 company. Sorry Vision wasn't covered. 5. Bathroom breaks are never monitored. Though if someone is gone too many times in one day, we are certainly concerned as any company would be 6. We abide by all HIPPA standards. We do expect employees to be honest when they are sick. That's not too much to ask for. But once again, we never turn down sick days. 7. I think there is a misconception of work/life balance. Almost every employee comes in on time and leaves around 5pm. We don't require anyone to stay late or work weekends. Many employees that earn uncapped commissions chose to work longer hours, this is also not uncommon at many workplaces 9. We have allowed plenty of tenure employees work from home and never caused any issues. 8. We did have 1 employee try to steal a laptop but returned it :) 9. A lot of employees do learn plenty of great skills such as how to properly use a CRM, qualify as sale, follow up systems, and how to close a deal. We always want to help our employees grow and become better versions of themselves. 10. Plenty of career growth for qualified candidates. We cannot promote unqualified individuals that show little sign of growth. There is a process and required skills. 11. Yes we expect people to be in the office, this is made very clear in the interview. however, we are working on a more flexible model for tenure employees. 12. Commissions have always been paid and have improved over time 13. Every employee has started at higher salaries and had increased at least once a year. We have also made exceptions for several employees per request. 14. If you are an account executive, we do assume you can spend extra time to find your own leads sometimes given the tools we provide. There are times when incoming leads slow down. This is also explained in the interview process. We are sure there are many other places to make money. And we encourage every candidate to think through their options before accepting a position. We might have higher standards than most places as we put a lot of time and effort into our employees and are #1 in our industry. Good luck with your future endeavors ;)

Pros

Massive Inventory: They have access to a global network of IPv4 sellers and lessors across all major registries (ARIN, RIPE, APNIC). Verified Clean IPs: One of their biggest selling points is their rigorous blacklist checking. They ensure the IP blocks are "clean" (not flagged for spam or malware) before the transfer. Rapid Processing: For leasing, they can often provide a Letter of Authorization (LOA) in as little as 24 hours, allowing you to start using the IPs almost immediately. End-to-End Support: They handle the complex legal and technical paperwork required by Regional Internet Registries (RIRs), which can be a nightmare for first-time buyers. Flexible Terms: They offer both short-term monthly leases and long-term (up to 5-year) contracts.

Cons

Market Pricing: Because they are a premium broker, their pricing follows the global market trends. As IPv4 scarcity increases, the cost to buy remains high (though leasing is a more affordable alternative). Strict Use Case Requirements: Because they want to keep their IP blocks clean, they may vet your "intended use" strictly. If you plan to use IPs for high-risk activities, you may face more scrutiny. Size Minimums: While they handle /24 blocks (256 IPs), they primarily cater to enterprise and ISP clients, so very small-scale individual users might find the process more corporate than needed.
