Pros

The office is very close to the 581. Has free parking, Has a gym. Pays well.

Cons

Unless you are related to the management you will never be promoted. They will string you along so well you’d be expecting a promotion almost any time and one of two things will happen 1) they will simply eliminate the position but a distribute the work all over or 2) a nephew or a cousin or a grandson will show up and start their career from the position you were promised to get at your interview 2-3-4-5 years ago “once you understand the culture.” They will talk about the ESOP… on paper it’s the promised land in reality you need at least 6 years before you are fully eligible yet they will suck the living life and your soul with constant pressure and promises they very well know they have no intentions in keeping. There is a reason why the entire, I am not joking the entire, management team walked away once they were acquired by Branch Group. Imagine how eye opening it is when an acquisitioned team shows up with a guaranteed pay and NONE of them stay even for the transition period… I am not disgruntled or angry. I was paid well! I worked with amazing talent. I’ve made friends. I am extremely disappointed and very sad that I’ve wasted my time. They will NOT promote you. For the record I was not passed on a promotion. After 4 years, I was not even told a position was going to be available and I just walked in one day meeting a nepotism101 starting his brand new career a full pay scale above all of us. After full 5 months of doing everything for this new hire “sufficiently experienced” teammate I just realized I was trapped in my own space for the next 4 years without any hope of moving up regardless of what I do or how much I do.
