- Changing team reporting structures due to fast-moving pace - Company has challenges balancing customer happiness, growth and new features - US-Europe time zone change makes team communication difficult in certain cases

Pros

There are ample opportunities to bring about impactful changes with noticeable results. Autonomy is heavily favored over micromanagement. OKRs are transparent for all areas of the company, and it's clear how those relate to company goals. People are friendly and professional. When problems come up, the focus is finding solutions and moving forward. Expectations are very high and that reflected in the caliber of the team. "Coasters" would have a hard time succeeding here.

Cons

Growth startups aren't always a great fit for people that prefer to work in large enterprises or with lots of processes, documentation, and bureaucracy. That's not to say processes & documentation don't exist here — it's just not to the degree that one might find in an enterprise setting. There were some periods where late nights weren't uncommon. But, this has largely been addressed in various ways since then.
