Pros

Some genuinely hardworking people who care about doing the right thing. A few teams try their best despite the chaos.

Cons

Compensation is well below industry standards, and annual increases don’t come close to matching the workload or expectations. Meetings dominate the workday—often multiple hours spent discussing the same topics with little to no follow‑through. There’s a noticeable lack of strategic direction across the organization, especially within IT. Priorities shift constantly, and management struggles to decide what actually matters, which leaves teams scrambling and projects half‑finished. It’s difficult to feel productive when leadership can’t set a clear path.

If you learn the business and you want to make a serious contribution, you can. You just need to put yourself out there and commit.

Cons

Teams and departments are considerably siloed. The right hand doesn't often know what the left is doing.
