Pros

The company provided me with health insurance at a part-time level. The inventory was super fun to sell and the customers were fun to talk to.

Cons

There was a noticeable culture of favoritism within the company. Certain employees received preferential treatment and opportunities, regardless of their performance or qualifications. This created an unfair and demoralizing work environment for the rest of the team. The hiring managers would only hire friends of theirs and it formed cliques within the store. felt taken advantage of on numerous occasions. Despite my role being clearly defined. I had to do work others wouldn't do in favor of just being on their phones. The work environment was toxic and stressful. There were very few opportunities for professional development or career advancement. Despite expressing my interest in growing within the company, there was no clear path or support for my career aspirations. I even had to go on leave for a bit and had to come back with some accommodations that couldn't be followed.

Pros

Cool customers. Great place to meet new people. Fun work staff. Good discount.

Cons

Unnecessary paperwork that takes up working time (it's honestly turned into a humiliation ritual atp if yk yk). Management with obvious favorites. Resellers can be horrible people and will try to make you the bad guy for doing your job (not all resellers ofc but a good chunk regardless). Crazy unrealistic expectations sometimes. Not everyone wants to sign up for loyalty for many reasons regardless of how many times you ask and try and yet if you miss a few you're the one in trouble.
