Pros
This is a great place to work and one of the most stable employers in the County. There are many holidays, great benefits and one of the last few places you can get a pension. You get a free 3% contribution to a 401k and don't contribute anything to the pension. Flexible work hours in many departments and a beautiful and safe place to live.
Cons
There may be some limited growth potential or some employees may "top out" of their job's pay scale (after many years).
