Pros
The lovely friends I have now from working there.
Cons
This has to be the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of working at. The only good thing to come out of working there was the friends that I made along the way. Hard work is unappreciated, pay is poor, there are no incentives, no bonuses, no nothing! The CEO does not trust anyone so staff working with or for him are truly fighting a losing battle. His lack of interpersonal skills is concerning when he occasionally leaves his ivory tower to communicate with his workers. All the Senior Management working with him are scared of him and when things go wrong, instead of him calmly taking the people responsible to one side, he takes out his frustrations on the entire company. This creates an entirely unbearable working environment. If staff put the wrong paper in the printer he absolutely loses the plot. If he put as much energy into the things staff did right instead of the things they done wrong he would be have a totally different workforce. He has a Board working for him as he is too incompetent to make any of his own decisions. He refuses to acknowledge the fact staff are leaving if they resign. He doesn't even have the decency to wish them good luck, say thank you for the work they have done or even ask why they are leaving. And then he will ignore them until they leave or make their life such a misery they end up leaving before their notice period! The company turnover is a clear reflection of the lack of respect shown to employees, with an average of two people leaving per month during my time working there. I urge anyone thinking of applying for a position at this company to reconsider and save yourself the inconvenience of inevitably having to resign and start all over again a few months down the line.
