Pros

Opportunity to work on mobile apps. Some big brands. Most work is little more than brochure ware, which looks pretty in your resume.

Cons

Remember Jr High? Bullied or worse yet a bully yourself. Popular kids in cliques putting down others because they feel empowered when they step on someone else. Super smart kids with the social skills of a rock, placed in uncomfortable situations, doing the work for others. Future dead heads just doing enough to survive. Geeks and Nerds wrapped up in their own little make believe worlds. Cheerleaders screeching the latest fight song all while clueless to the real game being played. Teachers who stopped caring years ago and hang on because they have no other place to go. Meat head Coaches, disguised as something they aren't, drawing meaningless little lines as a poor excuse for real talent. The occasional good teacher, overwhelmed by it all. A cadre of others hired simply because they all went to the same school. The administration so out of touch and more focused on politics, titles, and power. Lastly, the kid that would not really flourish until college. For them, this is just something they must endure, their best days are ahead of them. All this and more is Bottle Rocket.

Pros

Amazing people who genuinely care about each other and the products they create.

Cons

Like many tech companies, Bottle Rocket overhired during COVID and later had to go through layoffs to right-size the business and return to profitability.
