Abusive to Employees, Abusive to Animals - Anonymous employee Boston for the Dogs Employee Review

At their best, the business owner is absent/checked out and at worst actively abusive to their employees. Absolutely egregious treatment of workers on the daily. The safety protocols for employees as well as clients' dogs were entirely inadequate, to the point of physical harm being caused to employees and animals. I was injured on the job, and the owner just laughed at the incident. Clients are bad-mouthed behind their backs, and the business was recently called out publicly for its abusive and deceptive practices. Their service dog training program was a sham. Clients with disabilities in need of service animals were bled tens of thousands of dollars under the guise of a credible program when in fact no one on staff was properly educated in service dog training methods and techniques. Finally, egregious financial mismanagement was covered up, and the business was on the brink of financial ruin, to the point that employee wages were being withheld. The lack of integrity at the ownership and management level is stunning.
