Pros
BU has an impressive global alumni network, name recognition, and a generally positive reputation. It's a refreshingly diverse organization that supports continued education. Staff in smaller teams enjoy a lot of autonomy. Benefits include many vacation days and a generous retirement plan with company match.
Cons
BU is so large that important staffing and budgetary decisions are often delayed by bureaucracy. The workload is surprisingly challenging and while it's great to get to wear a few hats, many people burn out on the long hours.
