Pros
Tuition benefits are excellent, salary is average, centrally located in Boston, most people are friendly and willing to help a new employee, opportunity to transfer between departments, benefits are ok as long as you are fine with using the BU medical and dental centers.
Cons
Bureaucracy is sometimes difficult to get through, very high turnover, many (not all) departments do not actively promote from within, professional development opportunities are limited, HR department is difficult to work with as the individual case load in that office is huge.
