Pros
Working at this place looks great on a CV. If you can stomach the downsides, use it as a springboard to something better.
Cons
The company’s brilliant “three days in the office” rule is, of course, perfectly designed especially if you’re someone with no children, no caring responsibilities, and no concerns about the cost of commuting in. In other words, ideal for anyone who fits the classic model: a man with a partner at home handling everything else. Convenient! And the diversity initiatives? Oh, absolutely flawless. Just look at the “women in leadership” initiatives such an inspiring range of hair colours and hair lengths. Truly groundbreaking. And the fact that every single woman involved has the exact same skin colour? What a coincidence. Diversity at its finest. This organisation could genuinely be amazing, but instead it seems committed to doing everything at surface level. Its attitude toward women or anyone who doesn’t fit the preferred mould feels outdated and 20 years behind.
