Pros

Offer great opportunities for young people looking to get into the financial industry. A workplace that offers top notch services for an affordable price to clients.

Cons

The only coons to working here is that the company is rather smaller and the opportunities for growth are limited.

Pros

- make your own schedule - flexibility - great people in the office - minus a few - a lot to learn - getting your licenses - learning time management - some management and some older advisors are really helpful - open architecture really helps to expand your business - splitting commission with management is better than splitting it with a regular advisor - the manager I had was a great guy, - great training for sales and great training to learn product within the insurance/investment industry, will definitely keep the knowledge that I learned so that when I eventually am down the road facing retirement and other aspects of life I know I will have all of the right planning in place.

Cons

- 100% commission is extremely tough - tough right out of college, especially if you have to pay back student loans - definitely need a good sum of money before hand to stay afloat - leads through the orphan program are awful, better off spending time prospecting; hantel program and agent of the day are a lot better - Need to ask for help or you will sink - sink or swim environment - definitely a career vs. a job mentality- if you go in thinking short term you won't make it - whatever lead you get from the company, you have to give 25% back to the house even if it is the littlest case in the world, which is a bit absurd
