While working in a management position, it allows you to work independently reporting up to your individual section.
Cons
Information and communication is not shared or consolidated across sections making it very siloed. Departments or Sections are not looped into the decision making and at times, done very discreetly, not taking everything into consideration or various scenarios and input that could add value. They don't seem to acknowledge skilled or experienced employees resulting in lack of appreciation for staff contribution.
