Pros

1. Self development (by own efforts as personal development is out of the company's mind) 2. Renumeration is considered high (but again weighing it with no career progression, and the inability to attain transferrable skills, it is not worth it)

Cons

1. Micromanagement Micromanagement is widely practised by all management, though they seem to deny it. Your manager will question every single decision that you make (you better make sure that you're well-prepared to answer all questions, including those questions related to your personal life). You will not learn decision-making skills as you will not be given the authority to make decisions, even minor ones that requires decision making to move the project/task forward. 2. Toxic company culture There is no transparency between management level and the employees. Being in the company for more than a year, I have seen multiple times managers are treating employees in a very inhumane way. It was very disheartening not just to former employee but also to current employees. It definitely reduced employees morale. Also, bullying is allowed and practised in the workplace, and sadly to say, it happened not just to entry level employees, but to managers as well. Verbally abusive words were used, and unjustifiable workloads can be given to some managers, but not to all managers (favoritism is adopted in this company). I have seen all employees (including myself), joined the company so passionate and willing to give their all, and ended up leaving in a somewhat worse state than when they first joined the company (you are not gonna be a better person). 3. Unfair contract All employees that joined the Malaysia team are required to sign a one year contract, claiming that this is because company invested in the training, but the truth was that there was no proper training conducted. The one year bond is just to compensate the high turn over of employees. 4. Career opportunities No personal growth, a serious lack of support given to perform day-to-day tasks. All training requests to upskills were rejected. Company is chaotic is managing talents. Always directing the wrong talents to do specific task. What you will be doing will be mainly recycled tasks, and it's very frustrating as you could not see your hard work bear any fruits.

Pros

Having been with the company for almost 15 years, I can say that I have developed a lot of skills beyond my basic skills through the company's hands-on training and career upgrade opportunities provided to me over time. I was pushed out of my comfort zones and exposed in various tasks to further develop my potential.

Cons

In the healthcare technology industry, the company needs to keep up with the latest global technology and trends. Sometimes, it is challenging to keep up with the fast-paced work environment.
