Pros

Pros: WMT, that's it. Things were good when we were owned by WMT, and nosedived after the company was sold.

Cons

Cons: "Restructuring", leading to job anxiety for many people. Bullying, favouritism, and retaliation from upper management, and no HR to handle these situations. The bullying and retaliation is by far the worst thing, and it's at a point where many people acknowledge that this is happening but can't do anything to stop it. No compensation offered to employees who did not want to transition with the WMT sale, and large pay cuts under the notion of not meeting newly set goals. There is an expectation to be on-call 24/7, regardless of hourly/salaried status. Store employees are expected to be checking their emails everyday and be available for a phone call or last minute call outs everyday, even on PTO. I was once called at 11PM by upper management, to complete a sale for her. There are so many more cons, but this is what I can share publicly.

Pros

Lovely culture. Community is important here and your voice is heard. Potential to meet many incredible clients to friends. A lenient environment that'll carry many laughs and friends to make while wanting to help you grow as a salesperson.

Cons

Hours are a consistent 10-7 everyday but Sunday. Very statistic focused based on last year, month, year gross and conversion.

Pros

- Mostly a chill job depending on your manager - Pay is better than most retail jobs with monthly bonuses

Cons

- A lot is riding on how good of a seller you are. Otherwise your store will struggle because the model is so different from traditional retail - You will give them your all just for them to promote someone external because they liked their personality better but they know nothing about the company If you just want to come to work to sell, and you have no bills or goals--you will do great. But don't expect any promotions or rewards for your hard work
